Exporting to Evo.

Post by 64_Richard » Fri Mar 20, 2020 8:52 am

Good morning.

I've imported a project from DIAL 4 to Evo.
The project contains general lighting and non-maintained emergency lights.
How do I turn off the emergency lights in Evo?

Thank you.

Dear 64_Richard,

As it is not yet possible to plan emergency lighting in our DIALux evo software, it is not possible to carry out your plan.

Aah I know that.
The emergency lighting calls were done in 4.
It's just better to do the general lighting, renders and documentation in evo.
I think I've managed it by using different light scenes.
It would be so much easier if Evo let us do emergency lighting. It's been promised for the last couple of years or so.

Dear 64_Richard,

Our strategy for the future is, that DIALux evo is the successor of DIALux 4.13 and we only developing DIALux evo in the future, but we will continue the support of our DIALux 4.13 software.

However, no new features will be implemented in our DIALux 4.13 software.

In the year 2020, however, we will try to completely replace DIALux 4 with evo, so then all of DIALux 4 missing functionalities such as emergency lighting, video production and sports lighting will be implemented in evo, too.
