Average indirect fraction equivalent in Dialux evo

Hello

In Relux there is a calculation method called "average indirect fraction". What is the equivalent algorithm in Dialux evo? Is it Perpendicular illuminance, Perpendicular illuminance (Adaptive) or Horizontal illuminance?

Hello Sentinel,

If we interpret it correctly in Relux, we can specify in the calculation settings how many reflections are to be calculated. The higher the setting is (low, average, high), the more reflections are calculated. The result is then more accurate, but takes longer. We can't say what amount is behind "average" or whether it is calculated dynamically.
There is nothing comparable in evo. We use a different principle. During the calculation, a dynamic decision is made whether the beam should be followed or not. There is no fixed number of reflections. The remaining energy is then distributed over the surfaces.
